This session will demonstrate an intriguing set of capabilities that Microsoft brings to the table through Office 365 and Power BI. Solutions that allow business to both gather data and report back out are often difficult to construct. Building these well often requires hundreds of thousands of dollars or more, and many months to develop. This drives organizations to develop lightweight solutions that often fall short of expectations and are difficult to manage. Enter Office 365 and Power BI. The combination of this software allows organizations to configure data gathering and reporting through tools they likely already own and are familiar with, store the information in the cloud, take advantage of their existing user security infrastructure, and deliver a solution quickly. Slalom will walk you through the construction of such a solution in this session.

When not delivering solutions for his clients, Dave can be found spending time with his family, playing one of his many electric guitars, and hanging out with other “Dave’s”.
